Inspired by the Steampunk design movement.

In March 2020, Covid 19 struck the world. It gave Paceracer a moment to reflect and see where we want to take our abilities as a progressive watch designer & manufacturer.

We were inspired and wanted to create something of an open heart.

We thought the best way to show this was through our 2-month-old Chocolate Laborador named Whittaker; him and his open heart. Given the challenges of last year, it took us until Christmas day to deliver it, and give him his first timekeeping experience.

We engineered an automatic skeleton watch inspired by Steampunk design, that would reflect his open heart through the mechanism on the dial. Another name for a skeleton watch dial is called an open heart mechanism.

We made it water-proof, and it also has an open case-back, so you can see through the back.
